About Me (If You Care)
I'm 30-something and will be for a few more years. I currently have two spawn - girl child and boy child. I'm a proud resident of the suburb of St. Louis, MO where I grew up and enjoy the small-town vibe and activities of my 'burb as well as many other adventures to be had in the city and nearby neighborhoods. I garden when I have time and I raise chickens in addition to my kids, cats, and dog. I love food. LOVE food. Also, music, movies, tv, art, nature, geek culture, and so much more. Life is pretty great.
I'm going to blog sometimes about things I do, make, cook, think, etc. But I'm a mom so I'm super busy, ok? My blog posts are probably going to be super short and relatively infrequent. Sorry, not sorry... I'm probably using what spare time I find to run the dishwasher or take my kids outside so that their television consumption doesn't reach brain-disintegrating levels. The benefit to you is that most of my posts should only take a few minutes to read which is nice because you might be moms too. And I get that "free time" is a unicorn.
You should note the following: I'm ok with all the food groups. I have zero reasons to avoid things like gluten or aspartame or something that only requires me to add water. I like Pinterest as a tool for daydreams but rarely create anything pin-worthy myself. If you came here for magical recipes that are going to transform your kids into transcendent grass-fed angels of perfection, look elsewhere. If you came here for craft ideas that will make your facebook friends ooooh and aaaah, look elsewhere. If you came here for relatable, mom-centric stuff from someone who is down to earth and who can't stand the modern mom-culture of judgement and insurmountable standards... You found me!
